The Markham Village Music Festival is coming up this weekend, June 20-21. The highlight of the festival is undoubtedly The North Stage that play host to 27 artsits/bands over the weekend! We will be celebrating the second year of a stage that celebrates the craft of songwriting and the hard work of local musicians who work at this all year long.

The north stage encompasses what we as a community work so hard for all year long.. This is a non-profit celebration of music and the craft of songwriting. We wouldn’t have this stage and this opportunity without some incredible local musical sponsors, Long & McQuade, Chalet Recording Studio and Epidemic Music Group.
This year will also feature performances from: Future History, Andrew Ashford and the East End Bulls Kevin Pullen,Donalyn, Alderwood, Josef Thomas of Hungry Lake, Falling with Style, The Mickeys, Cameron Kennedy, Mackenzie Alexander McRuer, Jim Dan Dee,Harrison Caldeira, Janis Lyn, Man Made Forest, Paul Irvine, Ro Randall,Slowcrash, Jeannette Loveisfree, Richard Malouin, O’Reilly’s Remedy,Robert Brawley and The Freel Street Band, Shannon Beresford, DatE – Dick and the Emotions, Ben Crosby, Matina Zee, Kelly Jameison, Russell Jackson-Wyatt and quite a few special guests.
